Also heard of some place in Jonesburg I believe that relined clutch plates that also might reline your parking brake. I forgot the name though. I'll look it up and try to get back later.
I have the band type parking brake as well and I'll probably have to reline it soon. Let me know if you find a solution.

I just got mine done for my 49, about $60. I always fix that brake first as truck gets pushed around and worked on all over drive area. Good insurance, when you live on a hill like I do.
