Is the distributor set up so that the #1 plug wire corresponds with the location of the rotor? Meaning...is the rotor pointing at the point on the distributor cap where the #1 plug wire is plugged in? And is the timing sequence correct? Condenser ok? Coil ok?

Rotor pointing to #1. Timing light shows the ball on #1. Points .019. Swapped condenser no change. Swapped rotor no change. Swapped out plugs no change. Will swap out coil and points tomorrow. And recheck timing.

Clean the points first. Takes a minute.

You're timed to fire the spark plug on the exhaust stroke, not compression. The ball comes under the pointer twice in a 4-stroke cycle. Send me a PM and I'll walk you through checking the valve timing.
