Greetings to the Stovebolt Collective,

The Staff, mostly Gdads51 -- our Swap Meet Moderator, has been working on a bit of a resto on the Swap Meet Forums. Tools, instructions, shop rags, plenty of liquid refreshments ... Advil. headscratch

We wanted to announce that we have completed Guidelines and we are just about done with some changes in the various sections of the Swap Meet. Those changes will show up during the week. The Guidelines are the next post! thumbs_up

We think these changes will improve the flow of posts, clarity of different sections, offer a few tips and generally keep the place tidy.

Always open to help with the postings (and feedback) in the Swap Meet and appreciate the Bolters who help make it fun, festive and functional.

Stovebolt Staff

Welcome to the Stovebolt Swap Meet

====== Guidelines ======

1. Before jumping in, please familiarize yourself with our 10 categories to ensure your ad gets into the appropriate forum.

2. Keep title brief but make the ad itself as descriptive as possible.
On "sale" items, you should put price in Title; but you must include price(s) in the description. Your ad may be deleted if it is not included. Exceptions made for multi-listings in a post. (Note: A "moderated" user is not able to use Private Message (PM) until after five posts are made in the Forums but the user must include contact information.)

3. Ads will remain for 30 days.
Feel free to re-post but be considerate and delete posts once done. Excessive bumping will get the post deleted.

4. Pictures HELP SELL your item! We strongly urge you to add images to your post; up to 10 are allowed.
They help! See the Image Posting instructions in the column to the bottom left to learn how.

====== Have at it! ======

If you need any help, please contact the Forum Moderator at this link.

Thank you for using the Swap Meet responsibly!

Greetings All,

Just a follow up note announcing that our Swap Meet Forums have been updated and are ready for vigorous use by the community.

I think we (The Staff) have done some worthwhile clean up and polishing to bring the forums up to date and make them more user friendly. We hope the tips added will help everyone make better use of the forums.

Feel free to provide feedback or suggestions on anything you see that could improve what we have, or advise the Moderators if a problem needing a solutions comes up.
