Has anyone devised a means to secure their Task Force truck hood to prevent it from being opened without first accessing the cab interior?

You might have to install a shield to prevent someone from reaching in the grille and opening it by hand. At least, you'd need to either cut the lever off and attach the cable, or possibly modify the latch lever so it has enough leverage to work with a pull cable (something like a throttle cable.)

I've been driving antique cars exclusively as daily drivers my entire life and have never had anyone attempt to open the hood of any of them.
