Going to install pertronix ignition do I take the 2 wires off the resistor and connect them together?? Also spark plugs gapped at .35 or best at .45 ?? Trying to post a pic Thanks

I concur with Martin. Unless Pertonix can provide a statement that their latest version will not melt your coil and fry your Pertronix unit if the key is left on without the engine running, I would stay clear.
