I made it back. Dragged a ton and a half '48 Chevy from Fairbury, NE to Chillicothe, MO with a '49 1/2 ton. I'll never do it again. Anyway, I would like to know about the beds. Mine is wood, red with white stripey thingees. Was there a standard color and what is a good paint to use? How do I keep the stripey things. If you left it up to me I'd probably put a WWII Bomber nose art pinup girl up there, but unfortunately I lack the talent, so I'll try to go back original.
