When I pulled the rear drum I found that the surface for the axle oil seal was damaged. It looks like someone may have welded on it, then ground it down. Not pretty! I have tried the local places around Tulsa for a repair sleeve. No luck. Surely someone else has had this problem. Also the data plate is missing. I bought the truck on bill of sale with no no title. Most of the time the damage is done were the inner bearing race rides.The bearing locks due to low axle oil and spins on the housing doing damage.If it IS just in the seal area,get a new seal and see how well it fits on the housing(just push it on without the hub).Use emery paper to dress up the housing.As for the data tag,I have only seen the lower GVW(3100,3800) ones available.Hope this helps.
