on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! I'm finding there aren't many of these larger trucks out there still. I have a matched set in excellent condition. http://community.webshots.com/user/squall_5053

What happened? That front clip will only work on the 1 1/2, & 2 ton trucks, but the cab will work for any of them. | | | | | Joined: Mar 2005 Posts: 27 Apprentice | | Apprentice Joined: Mar 2005 Posts: 27 | Travis, Where are you located? The reason I have these parts is the 216 was no good anymore and I took the rear end out of it and installed it under the white '53 boomer. I gutted the busted rear axle and put it back under the green truck frame. the back half is going to make an awesome big trailer to pull behind the others.
I took this apart so I could swap it to the white '53...but then I decided what a pain and a lot of work...and I don't want to ruin such a good front end on the work truck. I would have had to cut some of the grill out for the winch, it's too nice of a grill to cut up.
In short, it became a parts truck. Anyway, I'm looking to get $700 out of the set.
