We had fun at the Cowichan rod run last night. I had to stop at a long red light. When the light turned green, the cars that were in front of me were nowhere in sight. The pressure was on to catch up with a whole line of cars behind me. We had directions but I wasn't familiar with the neighbourhood. The clutch is still hanging in there - definitely needs to be replaced. Beverly Corners show is today.

We are in the centre of the picture.

Strange? You must have jumped forward to the second picture - the one with the rat rod.

I edited the original post. Can you see the picture OK now? Maybe facebook links don't work for everybody.

Hi Gord, interested in your colour name for your 54, I did the same for my 50, its called woodsmoke blue, a GM truck colour from the early 60's...Glenn

It's actually a Toyota colour from 1971/1972 called Scandinavian Sky. Paint is Nason Ful-Thane 2.8 Low VOC Urethane. Fran did the painting in our yard.

So glad you sent the stand alone photos. Your truck really "stands out in a crowd" in that first shot (now that I know what I'm looking for). Once I spotted it (ah hem), then I realized how big your truck is!

I, too, like the color! smile

Interesting arrangement for a car show. Up here, they don't pack them in that tight, and many leave early. frown Can't happen there.

I like the color of your '54 as well. thumbs_up

Kevin,
That pix was taken of the staging area just before the rod run. 1/2 hour after the pix, the parking lot was empty since we were all on the road. After the rod run, they were parked differently so people could leave early if they wanted to.
