Came across a cringe-worthy example of how NOT to install an MII front suspension to an AD truck frame.
Had to pick my jaw up off the floor.
Cropped screenshot added below.
Way beyond scary!

Remember the Ralph Nader book about the Corvair, "Unsafe At Any Speed"? Some of the M-II systems fit that category, either in design, or installation. Just because somebody sells a "kit" doesn't necessarily mean it will do anything properly, other than put a few bucks into the seller's pocket! Jerry

Most of the MII kits are about as dummy proof as it gets. Pretty much all the manufacturers have vehicle specific kits. I don't know what those people were thinking. Looks like they notched the frame to get lower??? The crossmember and arms look like they were a quality kit at one time. Chromed arms with coilover lowers, couldn't have been cheap. The install kind of stunk. At least the truck is in the "parts" section.
I think the guy who did that did not know what he was doing and did not do his homework before installing that MII. That front end is dangerous at best. Deadly would be closer.
