I have a 1950 3100 with a 12V system and I am about to wire up the tail lights. The tail lights I bought have two bulbs and two wires. Is it possible to wire the brake light and the turn signal light into the same circuit?

Yes, if you have a turn signal with 7 wires it is meant to have the brake light and t/s work on the same wire.

I have a turn signal with 7 wires but the wiring diagram is long gone. If you have one could you please post. Thank you.

Chevy Darrin That diagram is on the internet,it only takes 3 wires to run the tail lights, stop lights and turn signals . stop and turn signals will interchange as you use them. You'll feel like a wiring guru when that works for you !! Not hard to get them interchanged...keep at it you'll hit it !!

Thanks for the advice. Once I understood what had to happen and accepted that I had to use the wire off the brake light switch it all made sense. Got the flasher nicely mounted on the left side kick panel up out of sight. Turned out great. On this truck in the 70’s I had mid 70’s Chevy step side top lights and a two wire brake and signal light. The way the one wire light works is cool. Cheers again to everyone that responds and gives great advice.
