The Stovebolt Site Forums The Shop Area General Truck Talk Help with chassis number and engine number

I have a 1937 GMC Model T14B. The wheels are 6 lug.

1) Does the "B" in the model number indicates that it is a 126" wheel base? Or, does the "B" indicate something else?

2) The chassis number is metal stamped into the data plate (positioned center on opposite firewall side; inside cab) and also stamped on frame on passenger side slightly forward of the RF wheel.

3) The chassis number is: 21333

4) The engine number (stamped on the horizontal surface of the metal pad, front left of the head) is: F616294

Any assistance with this would be appreciated.

GMC should have an Olds or flathead Pontiac engine, engine SN should be stamped on machined surface near rear of engine, might be 230xxxx or some such. Chevy engine now.
