| Crusing in the Passing Lane Joined: Jun 2011 Posts: 5,096 | GMC should have an Olds or flathead Pontiac engine, engine SN should be stamped on machined surface near rear of engine, might be 230xxxx or some such. Chevy engine now.

'55 GMC 370 w/270, 420 4 speed, grain, dump bed truck from ND. Works OK.
