There is a clip on the very bottom (latch side) that you slide the channel in to start and a screw just below the window opening, in which I didn’t install because it was too difficult. I used Pop rivets spaced ever four or so inches all the way up to the wing window (mine is a 52) and it seems to have worked perfectly.
There is a series of Videos on youtube by Jerry Kassis. It’s a 5 part series and episode 5 shows the installation of self taping screws. It cover the whole installation of all the door components and I highly recommend watching it.

More: What are these holes for? On the other side it looks like there are plastic things in them.. I dont imagine if its a screw that goes in there to hold the molding.. it cant go very far -wouldnty it scratch the glass??
And that center metal clip. I dont know what that is for either..

I carefully massage the window channel into the correct shape and mush in place. Cutting it to the proper length once you have the bends worked out is important.
