Greetings, My psg wiper arm attachment came off the transmission linkage which comes through cowl bevel housing. Can these be bought or what is in the inside of it? Perhaps some kind of washer could be glued in their and then glue the wiper arm back on? I can't remember what the inside of this think looked like as the part seems to have broken off and fallen away. See pics. Thanks!
From the image, I can't tell what the problem is. The wiper arm will press-fit on the grooved ferrule you show in both images. It appears there is a separate grooved ferrule, also. Did this come from the other side?

The PSG? Passenger? Looks like the head has been yanked off the passenger wiper transmission tower and the driver's side tower is ready to fall off. If you can get them back on in their original location you may be able to epoxy them if not you need to replace both with reproduction ones.

If that loose ferrule came off the other wiper transmission, you have a problem. I don't know if it is possible to reattach it to the shaft. Maybe a TIG weld would work on those dissimilar metals. One time I accidentally welded two pieces of aluminum together with a stainless steel filler rod. It was not a strong weld, but it did stay together somewhat. If not, you will need to buy a new wiper transmission or find a good used one.

You can see the cowl vent in the second picture so the passenger side was placed in front of the driver side for the photos. Wiper arms left unused or untouched for decades can be a real pain to take off (corrosion inside). If the wiper arms are pried off, in only one direction and not uniform, the tower shaft can be bent. If that happens, it's best to replace with a new transmission.

yino18 In the olden days those drums would wear out, wiper arm would slip, wipers would get "out of time and be down on the hood wiping".I think you can get new drums, would also get new wiper arms. Epoxy them on then you are like new again.
Thanks all for the replies. Yes the loose one is from the passenger side which is what fell off. I am wondering if I can get that reattached but it seems there is some type of bushing or washer that goes in it. Not sure if their is a part sold for repairing this or if I need the whole new transmission arm which comes with this piece mounted on it. The key here for all responders is the ferrule groove piece doesn't just pop back on in which case a little epoxy would work. There is a gap or hollow out area so it just freely spins around the wiper tranmission coming through the cowl. I am thinking their is another piece I don't have that sits inside this ferrule groove piece which is needed to make is snug. Hope that makes sense. After some parts searching I'm not seeing this groove piece or my mysterious inner bushing only the whole new linkage with it attached which they charge over $100 for.
The gap around it makes me wonder if it was or could be soldered on. Upside down not good for that so you’d have to remove the transmission anyway. Maybe use rain gutter seal/caulk. Maybe It dries hard/firm enough to hold it.
