Recently I searched for how to identify my oil filter. One of the posts that I read said that either AC or Fram had a 5/8 hex head on the top , and the other had a 7/8 inch. Today I remembered to measure mine, and it took a 7/8 wrench. But, now I can't find the post that told which was which. I'm sorry to be so dis organized, but can one of you help me with this.

For what it's worth, I have an AC S-2 filter canister and the bolt measures 5/8 across the flats. Here's a pic.
