For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Jun 2006 Posts: 39 Member | | Member Joined: Jun 2006 Posts: 39 | I'm looking for two right hand studs for budd wheels for Cloey, my 1942 1.5 ton Chev military 4x4. These are 2" long overall, with 1~1/4" of thread, 16 TPI by 3/4" in diameter. The splines are pretty fine and the diameter of the splined area is about 7/8". (Sorry but the rain ate my micrometer last night).
I'M DESPARATE, no wait, Cloey is desparate! These may be the same studs as used on the larger Chevy and GMC duallys. I've already visitied with most of the well known Military parts guys.... No luck yet.
The good news, Cloey has new brakes seals and bearings all the way around! | | | | | Joined: Nov 2005 Posts: 6,100 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Nov 2005 Posts: 6,100 | Hy Dale in Iowa, according to the spec's you gave us Euclid p/n E-4964-R looks like the closest match, hope that helps | | | | | Joined: Aug 2004 Posts: 242 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Aug 2004 Posts: 242 | Dale; Frank VonRosentiel in Canada has NOS studs, his contact info is on the VOV site under "other resources"
