In my neck of the woods, a "thank you" is appreciated when help is provided.
GM part numbers for the valves are located here:
http://www.gmpartswiki.com/getpage?pageid=213753Found them on Ebay.com (mostly used), fillingstation.com and chevsofthe40s.com.
I take my heads to a local machine shop (Pilot Engines) that has experience with the older engines.
Their advice is free. Things like:
Checking the head for cracks before you spend the money on it.
Resurfacing or checking head for warpage.
Checking intake and exhaust manifolds for warpage.
Regrinding valves and seats versus buying new.
Angles(s) of grind.
If new valve guides needed.
If you plan to run Ethanol gas (E10), there is debate on whether hardened seats, or hardened valves (not both) are needed.
I would not use hardened parts unless I was planning to do a lot of expressway driving.
