| Crusing in the Passing Lane Joined: Jun 2011 Posts: 5,096 | Saw today a Blue Bird bus built with GM P chassis using front axle with Saginaw(Delphi) power steering, disc brake spindles and hubs that bolt on to GM two ton front axles, those with metal cover held on with 6 bolts. 10 on 7.25” bolt pattern. Rear axle disc brake Rockwell C-103 on this one, D-80 on others.
So, another source for this useful rare, at least in our part of the country, running gear. Do not know year of Blue Bird.

'54 GMC 630 w/ 503 gasser, 5 speed, ex fire truck, shortened WB 4', install 8' bed. '55 GMC 370 w/270, 420 4 speed, grain, dump bed truck from ND. Works OK.
