Have a foot operated outfit goes on the wall,can put the hammer on those rivets with it. Very important to not let the lining pucker between rivets. Also can arc the shoes but seems wasteful when you see the dust fog off of the grinder,of course the bigger the drum the worse it is !! | | | | | Joined: Apr 2017 Posts: 230 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Apr 2017 Posts: 230 | I believe that the brake shoes should be arched before the lining is installed. You can check the arch by placing them inside the drum and look at how close they fit. The shoe can then be adjusted before the lining is installed.
