| | | | Joined: Apr 2005 Posts: 7,440 Bolter | | Bolter Joined: Apr 2005 Posts: 7,440 | After removing the painted grille and disassembling it, the amount of body work to straighten it up reared it’s ugly head. I’m not now or have I ever been a Paint and Body man. Have I done it ..... yes. Has it looked professional....... no! But, it has gotten the job done. I figure a couple of hours with a hydraulic press, body hammer and a couple different dollies I can make it presentable enough to get powder coated. I’m looking at chrome powder coating vs regular chrome plating. Anyone had experience with the chrome powder coating?
