If your truck came from the small grain belt, your heater might not work. My ‘55 heater, both sides this way, no through route, must blow from both sides.

Goes for farm tractors too. Have to clean the radiator once a year.

Wheat, not corn, although everything that dehusks will clog.

Hay and alfalfa from ranching in western region will do the same.
It what saved quite a bit of my 51 6400 cab from rust, though...especially when grease and oil gets involved into the mix.
Did have to patch a spot on the rear of the cab from a forgotten truck parts catalog left behind the seat inside years ago.
The original paint on the firewall was very fresh and shiny when degreased.
Funny that it was a parts catalog.

Cottonwood seeds are real bad too, we have it all here, hay, wheat, oats, beans, corn, cottonwood, mosquitoes - it's heaven. At least we have water, sometimes too much. Southeast Michigan

John small grain would be like wheat in Kansas,Larger would be corn, soybeans in midwest Il.,In.,Iowa,Mo.,In Kansas they have no mufflers for fear of torching off the dry wheat stubble.
