Hello truckers,

I wanted to give something back for the great help here in the forum.

My C60 Fire Truck has like any old truck, an old cracked steering wheel.

Mine is made of hard plastic and can not be welded.
I built myself an auxiliary frame out of iron (6mm), welded it together and bolted it tight to the steering wheel.
Screw joints and the troughs on the back were cast with epoxy.

The height difference was compensated with solid foam and then the whole thing covered with genuine leather.
I am satisfied with it, it holds great and looks great cool

Maybe one or the other can do something with it.
In Germany to get parts is very difficult, so you have to help yourself.

Greetings Brian
