First off...its a beena long time since I have posted here but Hi to all my fellow Stovebolters

But their isnt really a section to post this but the tires are connected to rearend whiche is connected to the driveshaft which goes to the trans...so yeah this must be the correct area.

Ok so here is my question at this present moment I have 15x8 chrome ralley wheels from american racing with 265x60 rubber on all of them. Well these tires are way to small for my truck, even tho I have a 3.73 rear and a SM465 trans I want to put the original 16inch rims that came with the truck. So that I am able to get better gas mileage and nicer freeway speeds. But I want to put white wall tires on it and powder coat the rims red like my truck. I would like to know who you guys/gals can recommend and also good prices because I checked out Coker Tire and they are expensive. Just wondering what I can do because the ones I have(rally wheels) are ok but I want the white walls cuz they look nice especially with a 2/4 drop on the truck.

I've looked around alot myself for whitewalls for my '64. They all seem to be within a couple of bucks of each other. Which you are right, kind of expensive. I've used porta walls on other projects before and really like them. Looks like I'm going that way again.

I have never heard of porta walls...if you can possibly explain this to me.
