I’m looking for a picture or dimensions of the bracket and link that connect the clutch pedal return spring to the engine block on a 57 Chevy 1/2 ton with a V8 and heavy duty 4 speed. I have looked at the picture in the factory service manual, but I haven’t been able to locate the parts so I want to make something.

Thank you,
Larry

Larry,
The factory assembly manual Section 6 Sheet 2.00 shows an L bracket from the oil pan approximately just below the location of the #5 spark plug. I personally have mounted a bracket on the steering box as it is more directly in line with the clutch linkage. Either way would work fine.

Thank you, Fred. I’ll try that.
