User Coilover has posted about it a few times. Maybe check out his posts.

I put one in a firebird and am looking at doing the same for my TF 3200. Do you have some specific questions or are you just looking for general information?

We used the Saturn VUE for several years before switching to the Prius which is more self contained and a bit more compact. Kind of hard to get good pics of installed unit but weather permitting we're putting the Prius set up on our forklift and its column is wide open. Will try to do a step by step for others to note. Will also see how the Prius unit handles something with a 10k pound counter weight directly over the rear steer wheels. ???

rad If you put the cornhead grease in the steering box, pump your tires up and be rolling when you turn. Wont that be easy enough ?? My 51 6400 got better with cornhead grease, noticed it was kinda stiff lately, after a long winter tires were kinda low. Now some drivers never do detect that steering is easier when your moving !!

This is my plan, but I'll be installing a '93 Corvette IFS and an aftermarket steering column. EPS gets rid of hydraulic power steering and cleans up the engine bay...just need to de-power my Corvette rack.

Carl,
Have the unit from a 2009-2013 Corolla (same as a Prius) but health has been a problem. Do a search for EPAS on a Suzuki Samarai install which is what I am going to use. Very out in the open and easy to follow.

Well Evan, I think I'll just pray for better health for you instead. I have plenty of time to wait for you, but hurry up and get better anyway. smile

I used an 06 Ion pump. You have to run at least a #8 wire to them. I have a 105 amp alternator in my truck. I fabed a 94 Blazer tilt wheel to the pump and cut the original steering shaft down and double D the end of the shaft. I used a rubber 2" plumbing cap to seal the end of the shaft. Been working great 5 years now. They can say what they want about stock steering. Ive been driving this truck since 1974. I like the power steering. And corn greese does make it nicer.
