Umm...that's a Chebby, not a GMC. Chebby model number (5700), Chebby engine (235 or 261). Nothing GMC there at all. grin

Nice truck, though. Love those '54-'55.1 Chebby grilles - much nicer than the old one.

Duhhhh. That's my fault big time.

You all are pretty quick!!

After I got this uploaded, the old vooodooo on the computer started. No mail out; no mail in. I made a big (bad) guess that it was a GMC because of the comment about his Dad.

We did add that he's from Desoto, Kansas

Sorry one and all. I will fix it rat now.

g,day from australia i,ve just been given a 1941 gmc so for me its the first total strip down & rebuild but everythings there just got toget the old girl apart any hints i dont wana break anything
