I didn’t know where to post this so put it here so an admin might see. I wrote a post about 4 hours ago for General Discussion and it never appeared. I did get an error message that I left the topic title off so I added a title but it never appeared. The post was just asking questions about the recommended restoration order. Please tell me if I did something wrong so I can be sure not to do it next time.

Thanks!

I searched your post history and couldn’t find the post you are asking about. The gremlins got it. Please post again.

You're not the first for that to happen to. Most times it's from simply clicking a button other than the Post Reply button and not realizing it. I'd hazard the guess most of the site users have done it before, I have.

If you catch it quick enough, the back button on your browser sometimes works to recover something you've typed.

It's frustrating, but I have a habit of hitting a wrong key on occasion and erasing a long post just as I'm about to finish it. Either that, or Mr. Charrington has slipped in an app on my hard drive to monitor my key strokes and he's doing a little pre-emptive censorship!
