I bought a pair from Jim Carter and they are for the most part identical to original. I had to harvest 1/2 of the backing plate clamps from the old cables and need to buy the separate end clips. I am scratching my head to determine how to keep the crimped on ball that sorta fit into the end clips from anting to come out. Have anyof you replaced yours and find a good solution?
You may have to resort to putting a couple weld beads around the notch for the cable to make it too small for the cable to come out. But if the end clips have a dish in them where the ball goes, and the cable stays under tension, they'll likely not come out.

Maybe a little bailing wire tie to hold them in place for installation.
