The identification plate on the hinge pillar of my 50 3600 is held on by two small clutch head screws. I was curious if the FAM shows that mounting as an instruction. I was asked once why that plate wasn't riveted on, so I was hoping to find the mounting instruction to prove to myself and the person asking the question, that the screws were as the factory installed it. I looked through the really cool index for the FAM that was created,( thanks guys for that)and flipped through the pages in my FAM but didn't find it. Can someone point me in the right direction? The FAM shows the data plate mounting, on Section 1. Sheet 10.00, but since it's a 1953 drawing, it calls out the rivets that were used in later trucks ('51 and later). Here's an article from Jim Carter that discusses the screwed on data plates. Link
