I got my wheels back from the neighbor, he sand blasted and painted them for me. I don’t have a sand blaster, and he is a body man with the paint expertise. Took them to the tire shop and they mounted new 235/75r/15 tires with tubes. I also bought new flaps, and being they are 15” 8 bolt wheels on this 47 3600 I wanted to stay stock looking. These wheels have a non split ring, and the shop has no problem mounting them. Then I was able to get help from my youngest son to bleed the brakes. New brake shoes on the rear and new wheel cylinders on all four. Rebuilt the master cylinder earlier this summer, but sitting up on blocks till the wheels and tires were ready. We got a good pedal and when I went to move the truck with my Allis tractor my son could stop me easily with the truck brakes. I started to reassemble the 59 235 this week too. It was at the machine shop. It was bored .060 over and ground the crankshaft .020 under both the rods and mains. I’m taking my time to clean, measure and fit every part as I go. My plan is to restore this over the winter in my heated garage. Virtually everything on this truck will be rebuilt. It was last licensed in 74. It must have sat all that time because there is not much left of any soft parts. A friend was able to give me a seat bottom spring frame from his stash of parts. That was the only thing missing on this truck that I needed. Once I get started on the body work it will be nice to see progress of this truck coming together. Brad
