My local shop can't find the drums I need for my 1951 3600. Its an 8-lug pattern. The 11" drums he ordered are 6-lug pattern, and all the 8-lug drums are 12" drums. Can anyone offer some direction?
Thank you,
Roger Schroeder

Try posting in the “Truck Parts Wanted” forum. You may get a ‘bolter the just swapped to disc brakes.

Are you running Huck or Bendix brakes? 3600 drums in general are about as scarce as a chicken with lips, and Hucks are really unobtainium. I've never heard of an 11" 8-lug brake, unless it might be an oddball Huck type of some sort. Where are the shoe adjusters- - - -Hucks have a 1-shoe adjuster on each end of the wheel cylinder and pivot pins for the shoes at the bottom. Bendix has a single one between a set of floating shoes at the bottom.
