I’m replacing rear main seal 57 235 I’m seeking clarification that the torque valves for the caps are 35-45 ft pounds ??

That's rod bearing torque, not main bearings. My Federal Mogul shop specifications manual lists the main bearing torque at 100-110 ft/lbs.
