Can the rear bearing in a t5 trans be changed in the vehicle or does the trans need to be disassembled?

Rear bearing meaning output shaft or input shaft (I would assume output)?
Output shaft...while the bearing itself isn't pressed onto the shaft, 5th gear is pressed on which prevents changing the bearing without disassembly.
Input shaft...can be removed and bearing replaced without complete transmission disassembly but the trans would have to be removed from the vehicle.

So, long story short, no T5 bearings can be changed while in vehicle.

If you're referring to the tailhousing bushing there is a special puller designed to pull the old bushing out and then you can drive a new bushing back in.
