I got my old dwell meter out to see what I was running for dwell and it reads about 40. I have looked in the shop manual, all my old tune up charts but cannot locate the proper dwell for my engine. I have a Delco Remey dist., model 1112353, s/n 9E27. Can anyone provide me with the correct dwell? Thanks in advance for any help. I have set my dwell to 33 and it does seem to run well. I sure do enjoy working around these old trucks. I have a hydraulic lift to dump the bed (old 2 ton grain truck) the pump has some minor leaking so my next job is to get into the pump and see if I can seal the leaks.
