I decided to clean out the underside of my one ton hood and made a platform with packing mats and plywood so I could lay in there and wipe it down with windex and rags. You can see the difference. I noticed two things that maybe some of the members can explain to me. First is the yellow 943 on the left side which I assume is some sort of factory notation. The second is the center seam “pin” hole. Is that possibly an alignment pin hole for assembly?. They didn’t waste extra paint on the underside and this was a photo taken after doing the first pass with the windex to see how it would clean up. Thanks in advance for any input on my questions.
