Finishing up my king pins, I got to the point of bolting the brake backing plate on, along with the locking pins for the king pins, and I'm not finding any torque specs on those bolts. I've looked through my factory and shop manuals, but I'm not finding anything. The long upper bolts have castle nuts, but the short lowers and the locking pin nut only have lock washers. Seeing that these are bolts that take a beating and are crucial to my wheels not running away, I'm just wondering if there's a torque list anywhere for my '51 3100. Thanks, Lee

The torque rating would be for the bolts, size, pitch, etc.

Ok, thanks. I can find that. never thought about it being standard per bolt size. For some reason I always thought it depended on the job or part.
