Sven010 'Bolter S Joined: Jul 2013 Posts: 45 Germany; Frankfurt	Hello, IÂ´ve got a modified ammeter gauge (front original look from 1947 and rear electrical side from maybe 60Â´s) on my Chevrolet 3800. Due to another electrical problem the gauge was burned. I want to purchase a new gauge and modify it to old look like it was done bfefore. Does anybody know the year of this gauge (see rearside). Thank you for any idea! If the answer is yes, you can use the pattern I made for the gauge. It is at the top of this forum in a sticky note. The diameter of the face is 51.5mm and the connecting pins are 24.5mm (center to center). You can see the pins compared to the original pins (these are too wide). Maybe you could make it fit, but I do not know. ??? I try to find a ammeter from maybe Chevy C10/ C20... Hope somebody here will see my pictures an know the year / truck form which the gauge could be... The truck was built/restored by Dave Chapman (The Hollister Road Company) in 2014. Dave passed away in 2018 and the previous owner didnÂ´t know technical details. Maybe the company that modified the gauge is "Classic Gauge and Cluster" (on Facebook) ..but they did not reply on my question...
