Does anyone happen to know the approximate weight of a C60 with flatbed? Or any C60 for that matter?

I guess I just answered my own question. I checked some old receipts from the dump and found one where they said I was 6,000 net and another where I was 5420 net. This is good. That will bring me under the 6000 lb weight fee when I make my truck legal.

I weighed in at 8420 lbs both times I got weighed. I wonder what could make the 3000 lb difference?

It seemed light to me too with big pickups running close to 6k lbs. Your truck looks pretty much the same except for the metal bed might be some extra weight. But 2500 lbs? Nobody else chimed in. I will look for some more old receipts from the dump.

Your bed floor is wood? If so and the fact that my sides are 10" I beam steel might very well make up 2500 lbs. The I beam sides had to be lifted on with a FEL but I have not real idea what they weigh. Let me know what you find out.

Yes my floor is wood. And it is very light and mostly rotted out with some plywood over it. There is steel on the perimiter but not very big. The sides are wood too. Sounds like that might be it. That and maybe you had a full tank of gas, and I am real skinny... grin

Well, I do try to keep the tank full and I am far from "real skinny" at 225 and my 50 lb english bulldog pup is usually with me. We keep a wonderen and we will make up 2000+ lbs quick.

Hydraulic Dump System will add a bunch of weight.

My 1960 Book shows C60 at 5310 to 5870 with out bed.

Interesting. I have a very heavy duty hydraulic dump system and also a very heavy after market front bumper. I doubt two guys could lift my bumper. So it would seem I should be a bit over 6K lbs with the bed, bumper and dump system with that figure.
