Ok, I swear after everything I’ve looked at over the years and all the advice you all have given out, I saw this somewhere before but for the life of me cannot find. I’ve looked at all the assembly, parts, and shop manuals and can’t seem to find an illustration just like my setup. I think I’m missing one part but want to confirm before putting it all back together.

I started taking this truck apart nearly 13 years ago and have bagged and marked nearly everything since day one, however I can’t seem to locate the original parts that were part of the steering wheel except for a large spring (a little over 1” in diameter) and a split concave washer(?). From everything I gather, the split concave washer goes in on top of the mast bearing with the side matching the spring facing up, then the large spring and then the steering wheel. After that I’m supposed to have some sort of contact and small spring that fits into the hub of the steering wheel, correct? This is the part I’m not sure my original setup had (and I sure don’t remember testing the horn before starting to disassemble so it’s possible it was just missing when I got). Then the large diameter “spring or contact plate”, washer, nut, cap. That all hold together or is there something else I’m still missing? 1st pic shows the concave washer against the mast bearing. 2nd pic shows the 1” diameter (?) spring next. 3rd pic shows the original disassembly pics, the new steering wheel, the large spring or contact plate, washer and nut. Then of course the button would go last.

Thx,
Derek
