Looking to replace the factory brake master cylinder with something sturdier, firewall mounted or framerail mounted. Any suggestions, tips, or advice? Thanks

I used a 1 inch bore dual chamber under the floor for my 38. I also added disc brakes on the front.

Thanks for the reply. Did u use the upgrade kit from chevys of the 40s for ur disk brakes?

I put my own together with help from my local NAPA store. I used 1978 C10 calipers and 1978 K10 rotors to keep my 6 lug wheels. I fabricated the caliper brackets from plywood and then cut them from metal. I used 1978 flex hoses, ran my own brake lines. Used residual valves to keep fluid at the calipers and wheel cylinders. Bought a distribution box with a brake switch, but used a mechanical switch instead.
