What front end are you working on?

Do you have a Camaro/Nova sub or clip for a front suspension?

I think "ang II" is supposed to be "Mustang II". Shade Tree: please confirm.
There are people here who have installed the Mustang II front suspension. I'm sure they can help. In the meantime, don't cut (destroy) any bushings.
Is this a kit?

Do you have any instruction sheets that came with the kit? The reason I ask is to understand where and what part on the installation you are having trouble with. For example, I believe (I really don't know) the spring needs to be compressed before the arm can be installed.

I left out one of the washers that goes between the control arm and crossmember. I've seen where others have used a ratchet strap to spread the control arm to get it on, personally I'd be aftaid of bendind it or damaging it, but it's your choice. | | | | Joined: Feb 2004 Posts: 28,674 Kettle Custodian (pot stirrer) | Kettle Custodian (pot stirrer) Joined: Feb 2004 Posts: 28,674 | What could possibly go wrong with a kit built by a 12 year old slave laborer in some 3rd. world sweatshop? Never use the lower control arm type anymore but use the lower A-frame type. If you have a Port-0-Power get a "duckbill" attachment and spread the channel a bit. When you put the large bolt back in that the control arm pivots on it will draw the channel tight against the bushing.

Push the flanges apart far enough to get the bushing to fit, and then tighten things down. Jerry

Had no problems at all with the kit. And if I did, their technicians are only a phone call away.
