These were on my '53 when I got it, they are 15" not sure about the width. Are these the correct wheels? - I like the look of the 16" wheels Just wondering if these could have been original - thanks
They don't have the 6 hubcap clips, so are probably from a later truck. Looks like they have 3 nubs that the hubcaps clip over.

Thanks! I thought you could get 15 in wheels on a 53 just - the missing clips is what made me question these, didn't know if they all had the clips. Does any one sell the correct repo wheels?
15" wheels were optional for the entire AD (47-55) series. I don't know of anywhere that sells "correct" wheels, as in exact reproductions. But wheels are available along with hubcaps that are slightly different than original. The original hubcaps just cover the lug nut recess. Your wheels would take larger hubcaps that fit over the bulge outside the lug nut recess.

Great thanks - So I guess I am in the market for some original wheels with clips. or maybe add clips to what I have (for the original hub caps) and try and find some taller tires, would that be a good option to get the original look?
The only issue with adding clips to your existing wheels, is you are going to see the nubs on the wheels. If your OK with that, go for it!

Cletus, I wish you good luck. Please let me know if you find 8 of the originals. The old timers like me got rid of them. My Dad had a Allis Chalmers/ Deutz/ Stiger/ and Versitile dealership and too many field brands like Ghel and New Holland etc. He bought all of the rims he could find for farm equipment. Doc.
