Looking for a pot of gold at the end of a rainbow?

What car/truck did it come off of?
Have you looked for part numbers stamped on the parts?

not looking for the pot of gold i know my place.
i'd like to get a kit for it.
there are numbers on the three gates and the cover but i've had no luck with them.
the "hurst" and the patent numbers are stamped on the front of the cover not the side, and it just says hurst not competition plus.
the shift handle has 78 c-10 in marker paint on it
i got it to go on an a833 with overdrive.

I see where your are coming from now and it looks like you've already found your pot of gold.
Isn't the transmission, shifter, rods and arms stock parts used in the MY6 option?
If so, they would be in the Chevrolet master parts lists. My book only goes to 1957.

Never mind my last post. The Chevy master parts list doesn't break down to the internal shifter parts.
Have you tried contacting a supplier who specializes in the Mopar version of the a833 shifter?
