OK Stovebolt experts I need to know...Can the door on a COE without a vent window be converted to a door that should have one? My 52 has a passengers side door in great condition however it is from an earlier COE with no vent window.I desire to stay original for a 52.
Any thoughts about this? Hopefully someone does and I'm eager to learn the facts about this......THANKS!!!

Ron

Ron,
We have several COE experts on this board and I'm sure one of them will be along before too long to answer your question. Several of them have COE in their handles so just do a search. The other expert is Spanky Hardy -- if he can't tell you then it p[robably can't be told.
Thanks for being patient and somebody will be along soon.

Thanks for using this web site!

Regards,
John

Hey Ron, Glad you bought this subject back up. I meant to look into this for you, but forgot about it. Dave in Oregon must want the vent doors in his also. I've got some doors hanging in the shop, I'll take a look at them. I'm sure it can be done. Chances are, you can find a vent window door from a conventional truck, & remove the vent windows 6 screws. Then see what it will take to modify the early door, so you can attach the vent assembly to that door. Catch ya later. http://community.webshots.com/user/snubnose4754
