John L is bringing me a carb I am buying from him. Would it be OK if we had a few of us install it on my truck while at the jamboree or the park? Jerry will be there to show you a lot of things about it. Heck with the show and the food, let's get our hands dirty! Bring what tools you think you will need and I'll have some also.
What say you Jerry?

Getting the gang together for a wrenching fest is what these Stovebolt Gatherings are all about. It's what the Homecoming event is based on. It would get boring quick if all we did was sit around scratching our butts and staring at each other ....

PS: I always carry my wrecking yard tool box.

I'll bring my tools and a tarp to lay underneath my truck. I have a canopy so we can work in the shade. Not sure how my wife would feel about that.

And you know what they say about old trucks, once you've seen one old truck you pretty much want to see them all. | | | | | Joined: Feb 2004 Posts: 29,774 Kettle Custodian (pot stirrer) | | Kettle Custodian (pot stirrer) Joined: Feb 2004 Posts: 29,774 | Sounds like a winner- - - -Since the jamboree is scheduled in between cataract procedures, I might be working one-eyed, but I still bet I'll be able to read a voltmeter, and do other electrical-related stuff! I'll bring some test equipment along with my micrometers. Jerry
