Grandpas truck: bought sometime in the 70's or 80's by my grandpa, to haul wood out of the bush with to the cabin.. started life as a 51 1 ton, thats what the frame is still now. he did a cab swap out of a 53? i believe. then during that frame off he did they also put in a 62? blueflame 236? box was originally wood, he had a custom built steel box made with hydraulic dump. he did the whole interior in the red along with the resto... current issues i have with the truck: brakes, they are garbage cant find anywhere to get 1 ton adjusters/ hardware.. the hydraulic piston leaks, so thatll have to get rebuilt, basic maintaince hasnt been done in way to long..

it needs new rims and rims, the bolt pattern is same as a dmax, 8 on 6.5 so we bought dmax rims off a 01, but i have no idea if the hub size is the same or not along with the offset. other then that just minor stuff, speedo doesnt work, says 93,000 has never been rolled over, it is the 4sp with trans ebrake, we do also have a spare one laying around one of the shops as well, need to get the fluid changed on the one thats in it now though, rear pinion seal too is leaking, most of the brake lines/MC are newer.

Nice looking truck, my 1 Ton also came from Southern Sask originally purchased in Weyburn.
Not sure if the front brake cyls are still available from Lordco but when I replace mine they were off the shelf. The Master cyl and rear cyls I had to order out of the US The Filling Station 1-800-841-6622. You could try KMS Tools 1-877-655-8665 or The Old Car Center 1-604-888-4412 in Langley B.C.
Good luck with the finding rims and tires it's been a real pain getting something that fits over the drums without rubbing on the tie rods up front.
