For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Mar 2014 Posts: 40 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Mar 2014 Posts: 40 | My 64 drivers side bushing/gear that connects to the handle is shot. I am toying with swapping this part from an old regulator, but i was thinking since i will have the door apart, i might replace the complete unit. I have a decent one on a parts truck. Does anybody have any experience with aftermarket units? Its a weekend driver, the original has lasted 56 years, i am 55, if i fix it right should never have to work on it again. | | | | | Joined: May 2005 Posts: 8,983 Sir Searchalot | | Sir Searchalot Joined: May 2005 Posts: 8,983 | There is a fix kit for that. ClickAs far as a complete regulator from a vendor. All the same. Should last a long time. A good donor is good. Lots of choices. All good. Don't fret. Rollers probably should be changed from same vendor. ClickGenerally speaking, there is not enough volume, for our parts, for more than one Chinese manufacturer.
