My 64 drivers side bushing/gear that connects to the handle is shot. I am toying with swapping this part from an old regulator, but i was thinking since i will have the door apart, i might replace the complete unit. I have a decent one on a parts truck. Does anybody have any experience with aftermarket units? Its a weekend driver, the original has lasted 56 years, i am 55, if i fix it right should never have to work on it again.

There is a fix kit for that. Click

As far as a complete regulator from a vendor. All the same. Should last a long time. A good donor is good. Lots of choices. All good. Don't fret. Rollers probably should be changed from same vendor. Click

Generally speaking, there is not enough volume, for our parts, for more than one Chinese manufacturer.

Thanks, i am leaning toward pulling one from one of the parts trucks and replacing the parts that you showed. Thanks for the links.
