If you're talking about the hinges, here's a picture of the page from the Factory Assembly Manual that shows the hood hinge. Also a picture of the hood with the hinge attached from my truck.
If you don't already have a Factory Assembly Manual, and still have work to do on your truck, you should probably get one. They're available from Amazon or eBay.

Here is s link to a thread about adjusting a front end clip that all starts with the proper alignment of the hood. It was written by a fellow ‘bolter, 52carl, and has been followed by many other ‘bolters with success.
